Stress While On Travel

You may not think about it, but travel, especially international, can be a very stressful experience. Travelers get separated from their familiar social support systems, and must adapt with foreign cultures and languages, and deal with unfamiliar threats to health and safety.

Coping with such a high level of travel stress could stir up physical, social and psychological problems. People who get to encounter a greater range of stress factors are more likely to bite it from psychological problems. Due to the stress of travel, pre-existing mental disorders could be exacerbated.
More to these, for individuals who have a predisposition towards rmental disorde, that disorder could surface for the first time during travel.

Q&A: Does Worrying Equal Problem Solving?

Q: Does Worrying Equal Problem Solving?

A: Worrying and problem solving are totally different from each other.

Problem solving is where you evaluate a situation, make concrete steps for dealing with it, and then put the plan into action. Worrying goes in a different direction. It rarely leads to solutions. Regardless of how much time you spend dwelling on worst-case scenarios, you are no longer prepared to deal with them should they actually come about.

Mantra To Help You Stay Positive

Mantra, according to Wikipedia, is a sacred utterance, numinous sound, or a syllable, word, phonemes, or group of words believed by some to have psychological and spiritual power.

Mantra you can live by this year:
STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF.

Anxiety has this ability to make you lose control. Heck, the cause of your anxiety is usually insignificant and won’t matter. It could be what to wear to a party, stuff like that.

Do not get so worked up over the small things, stressing about matters that are not really that big of a deal.

When it will help you: when you find it impossible to sleep, fiddling about the next day’s to do list. Be easy.

Words From Steve Jobs

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
